With a population of 5,389, Northfield is one of the smaller villages comprising the New Trier Township. This small but elegant community directly west of Winnetka is the head quarters to Kraft Foods and the home to many of it’s executives. Schools: Northfield children attend elementary districts 29 (Northfield),34 (Glenview ) and 37(Avoca) depending on proximity to the neighborhood elementary school. High School Students attend New Trier High School, with the first year spent at the freshmen campus in Northfield and the last three years at the East Campus in Winnetka.

Transportation: The Tri-State Tollway(I-294) and the Edens Expressway (I-94) are both nearby. The Loop is a 40 minute drive from Northfield. O’Hare Airport  is a 15 minute drive, while Midway is an hour drive. Rail commuters have a 40 minute trip to the Loop from either the Winnetka or the Glen View train station. Bus service is available.
